In 2001, DigiScript was contacted by University of Florida College of Pharmacy to solve a critical problem: the enormous shortage of pharmacists in their state, and how to attract and educate new students to re-populate the profession.

The solution: a three-year project to Capture, Enhance, and Extend^TM the College of Pharmacy curriculum to satellite locations throughout the state. Today, with camera in the classroom, lectures are captured, streamed, and delivered to students in a matter of hours, wherever they might be, at their convenience, without sacrificing the learning environment.

Engaged learners are better learners, retaining information as never before. DigiScripting marries tried-and-true knowledge-sharing methods with new channels of delivery via the Internet that replicate (as closely as possible) the “feeling” that students encounter in the classroom. Plus, each class, seminar, or special event is archived for future reference, creating a permanent, accessible digital library of lectures.
